First Phase

A program is established for each individual patient at the start of care. The goal in the first phase of care is to reduce your symptoms. Often times, most are under the assumption that if they don’t feel any pain that there is nothing wrong and that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. In fact, pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced. The beginning stages are the most crucial time in reduction of scar tissue formation after an acute injury. We keep the first 12 visits very simple because we are learning about your body, and how it heals.

Second Phase

This phase is used to prevent a rapid recurrence of symptoms; it is necessary to continue receiving care even though your symptoms may be gone. Now that we have relieved the symptoms or decreased the pain to a minimum, we are correcting the actual problem by practicing “corrective care”. We need to retrain your spine to maintain proper alignment and optimal curvature to reduce scar tissue degenerative disease etc. We do this by integrating stretches, traction, and at home exercises that are given at a case-by-case basis.

Third Phase

By this point your body has regained proper range of motion and is considered to be on the mend. We also look for a decrease in subluxations by the end of this phase. The body’s proper alignment is now meant to be maintained. By establishing a relationship with chiropractic you will be avoiding aches, pain and injury by maintaining the restoration of the nervous system, which in turn allows your body to maintain optimal health.
